Carefully press out excess water with a clean towel and lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not tumble dry, bleach, or use fabric softeners. Avoid ironing lace; if needed, silk may be lightly pressed on the lowest setting with a cloth placed between the iron and the fabric.
